The TONIA SCHILLING COMPANY products on and off-stage creations with the vision to make art available to all through the marks left in theatres or other out-of-the-ordinary places. Ever since its first creation in 1999, the Fribourg choreographer has developed her own movement and choreographic language through the courses she followed and the experiences she lived in dancing, yoga and cultural anthropology.
Tonia Schilling creates from the vision that every human being carries within oneself the creative light that transforms each action into art. In this sense, it is the conscience and the intention which turn the movement into dancing. Thus, dancing is not an individual technical move but belongs to a universal flow to which the artist connects with his soul.
